The Journey of a EGUSD Trustee

Welcome to my blog, 'The Journey of an EGUSD Trustee.' I hope this space helps my community get to know me a bit better. Elk Grove Unified School District is the fourth-largest in the State of California. In Area 4, the Laguna community, there are over 10,000 homes, many with kids attending John Ehrhardt, Elliott Ranch, Foulks Ranch, Marion Mix, Joseph Sims, Stonelake Elementary Schools, and Laguna Creek High School.

Being the Area 4 Trustee has been a meaningful way for me to give back to the community. My husband and I often say that buying a home in this neighborhood was one of the best decisions we’ve made, just after getting married and starting our family. I have a deep passion for public education and want to ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Serving in this role is truly an honor, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
